Aligning with the element of air can lighten your mood and lift your spirit. Breath is central to all life, air moves through us and is all around us, is it any wonder that it has immense power to heal? The focus here will be to align with and transform yourself into the element of air.
Take a few deep, slow breaths to center and focus. Feel the air moving up through your nostrils and down into your lungs. See the air moving into all the areas of your body, through your corpuscles, your blood stream, your muscle tissues.
Starting at the crown of your head, visualize your body turning transparent, becoming one with air. Slowly move down through your head and neck, out into your arms and hands, down through your chest and mid-section, into your pelvis and down your legs all the way to your toes.
You can still see the form of your body, but it is all air, breezes can move through it. Any discomfort or pain can just float out of it and be transformed into harmless particles by the healing power of air. Find any areas of your body that are causing you dis-ease and simply let those discomforts float away, up to the clouds.
When you have taken enough time to release your suffering, take a few more deep, cleansing breaths. Feel the lightness that being air brings you. You can float and move with the breezes because you are of them, part of the moving air of the world. Allow yourself a few moments to dance and waft with the clouds.
Allow your body to reform to its material self, starting again at the crown of your head, moving slowly down through your entire body. Take a moment to enjoy this reformation of your refreshed, relaxed body.
When you are finished with the visualization, give yourself a moment to return to ordinary consciousness and move through the rest of your day, lighter, more energized, nourished.
